Grace Massarelli grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where she went to Broughton High School before attending college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW). She graduated from UNCW in 2018 with a BS in Business Administration and a concentration in Economics. Following College, Grace attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in downtown Raleigh where she participated as an Honor Court Justice, member of the Teen Court, Re-entry Clinic, and the Student Ambassador Program. While earning honors for the Pro Bono Service completed, she also competed in Trial Advocacy Competitions, being selected as the “Best Advocate” in the Kilpatrick Moot Court Competition held at the UNC School of Government.
One of the highlights of Grace’s law school career was being on the Client Counseling team. Coached by Zack Anstett of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, Grace and teammate Amber Younce ’21 went on to represent the School in the State, Regional, and National level of the American Bar Association Client Counseling Competitions. The team won states and regionals for two consecutive years, and went on to be semi-finalists for the National Competition both years. Grace’s ability to counsel while keeping the legal objective in mind makes for a thoughtful yet intentional lawyer in the family law arena. Before becoming an Associate Attorney at Gailor Hunt Davis Taylor & Gibbs, PLLC in 2021, she spent her summers and breaks following college and throughout law school interning for the firm. When not practicing law, Grace enjoys spending time with friends at the beach, running with her dog Raleigh, and hanging out with her four siblings in the area.
